What are Eyelash Extensions?
Eyelash extensions are strands of hair individually attached to natural eyelashes with a special adhesive to add length, thickness and fullness to natural eyelashes. The extensions are applied to the eyelash itself and are never in direct contact with your skin. Eyelash extensions will make your eyes look younger, sexier, and more beautiful.

What to do before your appointment?
- Do
NOT wear eye makeup. Make up close to the eye must be removed prior to the
application process. Use mild, oil free cleanser. Do NOT use oil based makeup
removers.
- Do
NOT apply face creams or sun block to the eye area. The oils in any
moisture/sunblock prevent the eyelash adhesive from properly adhering to you
natural eyelash drastically reducing the longevity of your eyelash extensions.
- Do
NOT put on any mascara. Removing mascara takes a lot of time. We want to spend
your time working on perfecting your lashes.
- Do
NOT curl your lashes before your appointment. Straight lashes work best with
eyelash extensions
- Shower
prior to your appointment. Eliminating any unnecessary contact with water or
steam with the first 24-48 hours will insure the bond between the extensions
and your lashes has enough time to properly set
- Avoid
wearing contact lenses, wear your glasses instead to your appointment. If you
wear your contact lenses, bring a lens case and remove them before the
appointment.
Now that you have a beautiful set of eyelash extensions, it’s up to you to maintain them. Please follow these guidelines to help keep them looking beautiful longer.
- Be
gentle on your new lashes for the first 24 hours and do NOT get them wet, do
NOT touch them and do NOT rub them.
- Avoid
swimming, steam rooms, hot saunas or extreme heat within the next 48 hours.
- Do
NOT use eyelash curlers, perm or tint the extended lashes. This will break the
bond between the extensions and your natural lashes.
- Do
NOT use oil-based products (NO oil-based eye makeup, makeup removers, moisture,
cleansers and sunscreen) on or near your lashes. Oil-based products will
dissolve the eyelash adhesive, dramatically reducing the longevity of your
eyelash extensions. BE OIL FREE!!
- Be
careful when removing eye makeup. Gently go over the area and always sweep up
and away from the lash extensions.
- Do
NOT use mascara. If you need to use mascara, make sure that it is oil-based or
waterproof, and be sure it is water-based and do not apply it near the roots of
your eyelashes.
- Avoid
rubbing your eyes. Do NOT rub your eyes too hard when cleaning your face. Avoid
running water directly on your lashes.
- Avoid
sleeping face down to prevent sleeping directly on your lashes
- Do
NOT pull on any loose extensions, you’ll risk pulling out your real eyelashes.
Do NOT attempt to remove the lash extensions yourself. Allow them to fall off
naturally or come back and have us remove them properly with a special eyelash
extension remover.
- Keep
an eyelash comb handy to straighten up any loose/stray lashes. Comb them
carefully and very gently only when needed. Avoid combing more than once a day.
- Resist
playing with or touching your lashes. The golden rule is: look, but don’t touch
